Instagram Downloader Privacy Policy

Information submitted to the downloader

When you submit a public Instagram URL, the full URL is sent to the website parser so it can identify eligible public media. The parser may keep the result briefly in a transient in-memory cache to reduce duplicate platform requests. Do not submit private links, credentials, cookies, tokens, or personal account data.

The service is not designed as a video library and does not provide a personal download-history account.

Operational data and analytics

Hosting, security, and analytics systems may process limited technical data such as IP address, browser information, request timing, error status, and referring page. This data may be used to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Google Analytics is configured with the page origin and path, without the page query string. Downloader events report limited fields such as parser outcome, media-item and option counts, error code, selected item number, and quality label. They are not configured to include the submitted URL, media URL, post identifier, or download filename.

The service does not use submitted platform credentials or create a personal account, video library, or download history.

Direct media requests and third-party destinations

Download actions use the verified source media address. Your browser therefore connects directly to Instagram or its media-delivery network, which may receive normal request data and any short-lived token already present in the source address. Those requests are governed by the destination service’s own privacy policy.

Links to Instagram, extension stores, or other websites are also governed by those services’ own privacy policies.
